Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Seaslimes are blue slimes that carry around a spiked seashell for protection and are typically encountered on coastal regions and at sea. Though not as common as their land-faring cousins, the seaslimes are infamous for boasting high defence and elemental resistances, as well as turning tail when battles look bleak. They also have a tendency to retreat into their shells to protect themselves. In the Nintendo DS remake of Dragon Quest VI, a seaslime named Shelley can join the Hero and party as a slime buddy.
