Steropes (ギガンツ, Gigantsu?, lit. Gigants) is an infamous monster available in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

It can form the teams Club Club with two other club-wielding monsters, Far From Heaven with two other monsters from the Demon family, or Two Eyes with his brother Brontes.

The Gigantes Gangster (あらくれギガンテス, Arakure Gigantesu?, lit. Roughneck Gigantes) can be found on the Unnamed Isle to the west of Princess Minnie's Castle. The player must have completed Rank B of the Monster Arena at Morrie's Place for him to appear.
