Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit | edit source]
Battenburg is the tallest locale in the echelon, seen looming in the eastern distance once Psaro, Rose, and Toilen arrive. The castle is home to a variety of sweets-themed monsters, along with some odd ones out, and the central feature is a large room filled with colossal helpings of flan. The player must bounce on these desserts to reach the deepest parts of the castle and reach Massimus.
When the protein-eating despot is disposed of, none other than the Unspeakable One drops in from a hole in the ceiling to deliver the finishing blow. Evidently it tried to pick a fight with Massimus before the party arrived but was intimidated in to fleeing, waiting for Psaro to weaken the lifter before taking another swing. Toilen is far from impressed at this underhanded display, flat out calling the beast a coward to it's face and prompting the monster to try an old trick long-time fans will be familiar with. The ruse fails and the Unspeakable One is destroyed, earning Psaro the title of big hitter for the Circle of Indulgence.
