The Bubble slime is a monster in the series.

Characteristics
Characteristics
Bubble Slimes are, as their name would suggest, relatives of Slimes but are more fluid and green by comparison. They also appear to be perpetually bubbling, though the bubbles appear to hang in place instead of being constantly produced.
Bubble slimes are amorphous monsters with a body made that looks like melted green goo with the characteristic eyes and smile of their blue relatives. They also appear to be perpetually bubbling, though the bubbles appear to hang in place instead of being constantly produced. When the slimes get tired, they submerse themselves in poisonous swamps to rest.

Normally stronger than standard Slimes, Bubble Slimes are also poisonous; possibly the first monster in the entire series capable of inflicting poison on players' characters. This poisoning ability tends to make Bubble Slimes more of a nuisance than a substantial threat, assuming the player is well-stocked and at an appropriate level.

Bubble Slimes initially appear as nocturnal monsters and inhabit the first few dungeons the player must tackle. While they appear in latter portions of the game, they become more of a nuisance by that point, especially if a sneak attack provides the chance for one or more to poison members of the party.

Bubble slime appeared since the beginning of the game, often encountered near the starting village on each continent. As always, they are able to poison new adventurers with their attacks. Starting with Version 5.0 of the game, vicious bubble slimes can be encountered in the Netherworld, as well.

The Bubble slime is a monster in the series.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Bubble slimes are amorphous monsters with a body made that looks like melted green goo with the characteristic eyes and smile of their blue relatives. They also appear to be perpetually bubbling, though the bubbles appear to hang in place instead of being constantly produced. When the slimes get tired, they submerse themselves in poisonous swamps to rest.

Normally stronger than standard slimes, bubble slimes are also poisonous, being the very first monsters in the series capable of inflicting poison on player characters. This poisoning ability tends to make bubble slimes more of a nuisance than a substantial threat, assuming the player is well-stocked and at an appropriate level.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]

Bubble slime appeared since the beginning of the game, often encountered near the starting village on each continent. As always, they are able to poison new adventurers with their attacks. Starting with Version 5.0 of the game, vicious bubble slimes can be encountered in the Netherworld, as well.
