Caped caperers are wiry [[Demon family|demon]]s with blue skin with sunken red eyes, large pointed ears, and a tiny pair of horns on their head. They wear dark blue trousers and white shoes, along with a yellow capelet tied around their necks. The devils have a long tail poking out of the back of their pants that they can drop after battle. The caperers hop back and forth on each foot in battle and have mastered a variety of dances intended to encumber adventurers, as well as performing the lively '''Hustle Dance''' to restore the HP of their fellow monsters.

The Caped caperer is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VIII. It is a demon that performs dance rituals in the depths of hell.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Caped caperers are wiry demons with blue skin with sunken red eyes, large pointed ears, and a tiny pair of horns on their head. They wear dark blue trousers and white shoes, along with a yellow capelet tied around their necks. The devils have a long tail poking out of the back of their pants that they can drop after battle. The caperers hop back and forth on each foot in battle and have mastered a variety of dances intended to encumber adventurers, as well as performing the lively Hustle Dance to restore the HP of their fellow monsters.
