The dancer's mail is a recurring suit of armor in the Dragon Quest series. Designed for battle dancers, it increases the wearer's evasion rate thanks to its light weight and freedom of movement.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit | edit source]
The dancer's mail has a defence bonus of +37, a style bonus of +38, and raises the wearer's evasion to 1/6th. Only Maribel and Aishe can wear it.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit | edit source]
The Dancer's mail has a Defence bonus of +57, increases evasion rate to 12.5%, and can only be equipped by Angelo, as well as Red in the Nintendo 3DS version. The mail can only be made in the Alchemy Pot. It can be sold for 8,200 gold each for the first five sold, 5,740 each for the sixth through tenth, then only 2,460 gold each from the eleventh onward.
