The Jowler is a monster in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Jowlers are great lumbering beasts with tough green skin and enormous jaws that walk about on their knuckles like gorillas. They have shaggy blue manes and short horns on their heads and backs. The brutes attack by punching foes with their enormous fists or delivering powerful kicks with their hind legs. As the jowlers have no ability in magic to speak of, they will call for aid from other monsters to keep them healed in battle. The monster's English name is taken from their prominent jowls.
