This article is about the spell Benediction. For the curse-lifting function in churches, see Church.

Benediction is a spell in the Dragon Quest series. In Dragon Quest III, V, Dragon Quest Monsters, Dragon Quest Monsters 2 and the Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, it is instead called Sheen.

It removes the curse status ailment from a party member. It serves a similar role to the Benediction function in most games' churches and statues.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit | edit source]

Rab joins the party already knowing Benediction but only due to the fact his character builder (in Enlightenment skill tree) has already invested in it. It can be rectified at a statue or at a church, and it will cost 4 skill points to unlock again. It costs 2 MP to cast.
