Styx raptors are a jet-black, vicious variant of Hades' Condors that first appeared in Dragon Quest Treasures.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
The raptors have black skin and black plumage with wing feathers, neck ruff, and tail feathers that scale in gradient from purple to azure. their eyes are blood red save for their pupils. These birds are frighteningly efficient at capturing their prey, leading to the myth that they usher their victims to the afterlife on the spot. Much like real ravens, their presence is seen as a forlorn omen.
