The Float-o-copier is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in Dragon Quest IV. Their name is a pun on the word photocopier.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Float-o-copiers are greenish-yellow or yellow wisps of fire with a penchant for taking the forms of party members and mimicking their attributes and abilities by using Morph. In recent localizations, they have a speech quirk where they will occasionally repeat a word two-fold.
