The Floating bloater is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII. It is a blue-skinned volant frog with a pair of wings growing from its back.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Grotesque flying toads that gather and flock around only the tallest towers to hunt for their prey. Much more agile than their name would suggest, they are able to make a lively leap at foes to deal damage, as well as lick an enemy all over in a way that can leave opponents stunned.
