The '''Plain clothes''' are a piece of clothing in the series. They are usually the weakest armour in the game and many characters often wear them at the beginning of their journey.

They are usually the least protective piece of equipment in the game. Even so, they are certainly better than wearing nothing and it does lessen the damage inflicted by the enemy, especially at the start of a game.
