The Small fry, (formerly known as DragonPup and DragonKid) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. The one of the smallest members of the Dragon family, it is typically the first one encountered in the titles it appears in and assuredly the least dangerous.

Characteristics

The Small fry is a baby dragon, as implied by its name. It usually knows breath attacks but none too powerful to actually be a threat to the party unless players are severely under-leveled. Due to it's coloration, head shape, and horn style, some fans believe them to be the nymph stage or per-adolescent form of Great Dragons.
