The Stone sword is a key weapon in Dragon Quest VIII. The Hero, Yangus and Angelo obtain it in Arcadia from the Kranbartle household. It returns in the Dragon Quest Builders series as a weapon the player can craft.
Appearances
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
The Stone sword is required to enter Rydon's Tower. It also has an Attack bonus of +12.
Dragon Quest Builders
The Stone sword can be crafted by the Builder at Mason's workstation. It increases Attack by +11 and requires a unit of stone to be made.
Dragon Quest Builders 2
The Builder learns how to craft the Stone sword at level 3. It increases Attack by +18, and can be crafted with 3 units of stone at an anvil.
