The thinking cap, also known as the intelli helm, is a recurring piece of headwear in the Dragon Quest series, designed to augment its wearer's intelligence. Despite its name, it looks more like a tiara, with a green jewel in the front under three small blue jewels and larger blue ones on either side. Older concept art shows a piece going across the crown, but more recent art does not.
