The Thorny devil is a monster which appears exclusively in Dragon Quest IV.
Characteristics
Thorny devils are tiny monsters with squat bodies that look like a cross between a Dragon and a Demon. They have purple bodies, orange undersides, wings, and tails, and a pair of horns on its head which gives the monster its name. These little devils have yet to make an appearance in another other game in the series.
