The Bamboo pole is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest series that appeared in the original Dragon Quest. This simple weapon is the weakest weapon in the game.
Characteristics
The pole is a simple weapon that consists of little more than a length of bamboo with one end chopped and sharpened to a point. In some illustrations, it has a rudimentary grip made of cloth near the base. The bamboo pole's position as the weakest weapon in the game would be taken over in subsequent games by the Cypress stick.
