Benediction is a spell in the Dragon Quest series. In Dragon Quest III, V, Dragon Quest Monsters, Dragon Quest Monsters 2 and the Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, it is instead called Sheen.

It removes the curse status ailment from a party member. It serves a similar role to the Benediction function in most games' churches and statues.

Rab joins the party already knowing Benediction but only due to the fact his character builder has already invested in it. It can be rectified at a statue or at a church, and costs 4 skill points to unlock again. Its panel is the first from the center in the Enlightenment skill tree.
