Burland is a country in Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen. Ragnar McRyan's home, it is located in the northerly reaches of the main continent, and is the setting of {{DQ 4 Chapter 1}} of the game.

Burland is the central location for the territory, with King Burnard currently ruling over it and Strathbaile. It was founded by Roburt the Burruce who defend it when it was a small hamlet, due to the aid of a special shield.[1]
