Rando-Relief is a trait that gives monsters a chance of using Wave of Relief at the start of each turn, removing any negative status effects from the entire party.

Known as Wave of Relief in this game, it is known by Diemon, Teeny sanguini XY, Wildcard, and Numen.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit | edit source]

Rando- has a 5% chance to apply Wave of Relief to the party at the start of their turn in single-player battles, with a 25% chance to trigger per turn in multiplayer battles. The effects of Rando-Relief will not activate on turns when the possessor is confused, paralysed, sleeping, or stunned, nor will it activate if there isn't a party member suffering from an ailment.

  • In the original Japanese, the trait shares a name ひかりのはどう (Hikari no hadō,, Wave of light?) with the Wave of Relief skill.
