Dourbridge is a town on the banks of a river in Dragon Quest IX. It is located northeast of Bloomingdale between the Slurry Coast and Dourbridge regions. Captain Max Meddlin, the mini medal collector is found here.

Synopsis

Dourbridge is not a town of major importance in Dragon Quest IX. It mainly serves as a connecting point to the Heights of Loneliness and Bloomingdale. It is useful later in the game after collecting many mini medals and being able to access the secret shop with the ultimate key.
