After defeating the [[Lleviathan]], you will get a [[Fygg]] from him. The [[Fygg]] will enable the [[Hero (Dragon Quest IX)|hero]] to see [[Stella]] and [[Sterling]] again. [[Sterling]] will give the [[Hero (Dragon Quest IX)|hero]] his whistle, so that the [[Hero (Dragon Quest IX)|hero]] can summon [[Starflight Express]] anywhere.

Follow That Fish! is a special quest in Dragon Quest IX given by Jona Jones after the game is beaten. This quest is special because it is needed to enable the hero to fully explore the Protectorate.

Walkthrough

After acquiring the quest from Jona, wait until the evening and talk to the ghost of an old lady by the beach where Jona used to summon the Lleviathan. She is the serendader of Lleviathan. Talk to her and she will tell you the equipments she used to wear while summoning Lleviathan. Talk to Jona again and she will ask you to collect them for her. The equipments are: Flowing dress, Watermaul wand and a Silver shield.

Means of Acquiring the Equipments

Silver Shield

  • Bought in Stornway for 30500 G
  • Use Alchemy with these ingredients: White Knight's Shield, Mirrorstone x3, Mythril Ore x2.

After getting all equipments, go to Cuddiedig cliff to meet up with Jona, and Lleviathan will appear.
