Fresh milk is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is a bottle of milk that is used as an ingredient in cheesemaking, alchemy, and cooking.

Fresh milk can be collected by talking to cows all over the world map starting from the Kingdom of Ascantha region and occasionally in barrels and pots in different towns. It can be purchased from Argonia as soon as the bazaar starts for 30 gold a bottle and it can also be sold for the same price. Fresh milk can also be dropped by Jargons, Buffalo wings, and Bobongas. It can be mixed with various items in the Alchemy Pot:

Fresh milk is used as an ingredient for cooking various cakes and tarts. It can be purchased from a material store for 240 gold each or dropped by certain monsters.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below

Fresh milk can be dropped by Skeletons and King slimes or received from King Flaminio in exchange for 3 mini medals. It can be used to create Heart pendants and the quick recipe for the Fishnet stockings in the Alchemy Pot or sold for 15 gold.
