Galenholm (ガライ, Garai), formerly called Garinham in past localizations, is a town located in the northwestern corner of Alefgard in Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest Builders. It is named for its founder, Galen who traveled the kingdom as a bard of high renown, and owned the Lyre of Ire. It was preceded by Galen's House, which was present during the events of Dragon Quest III. It does not appear in Dragon Quest II along with many other locations in Alefgard.
