The Dragon zombie is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first introduced in Dragon Quest III.
Characteristics
Dragon zombies are animated skeletons of long-dead dragons raised by dark forces. The eye sockets in their skulls glow with an eerie blue light and their bones are ochre-colored, though in V their bones are white. In the PS2 version of V, their skeletons still have bits of rotting flesh lingering on their bones.
In their original appearance, the Dragon zombies were among the most powerful of Zoma's minions, capable of breathing out icy breath at enemies like their master. They are vulnerable to both the Dragonsbane and Zombiesbane due to their dual nature.
