A Silhouette is an enemy that first appeared in Dragon Quest III. It was originally green but changed to red in the sixth game and remained that way until XI where it returned to being green.

Characteristics

Devilishly dangerous demons that float into battle like a fiery shadow, doing the deadly Death Dance that has a chance to slay all enemies where they stand. A force to be feared, these monsters should only be faced by adventurers that have the ability to resist wicked Whack spells.
