An Ursa major is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.

Characteristics

The Ursa majors are oversized, blue-hued counterparts to the ursa minors. Befitting their name, they have immense strength.

The Ursas take their names from the Latin terms for large (major) and small (minor) bear (ursa).
