Musk is an attractant in Dragon Quest IV and Dragon Quest V.
Function
Musk increases the frequency of Random Encounters. This can be useful for searching for metal monsters or obtaining item drops if you don't have access to Whistle.

Musk can be purchased for 150 gold coins (and sold for 120) in:
- Dunplundrin
- Canalot
- Rosehill
- The Azimuth
- Immigrant Town (Stage Two-Four only)
