The berzerker is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
Introduced in Dragon Quest II, it's an axe-wielding maniac who usually possesses a high attack stat.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Berzerkers appears as crazed Humanoids wielding hand axes and shields, as well as a full tunic and cape. The fact they appear fully clothed, even having a decorative circlet on, suggests a reasonably high level of intelligence. When berserkers first appeared, they had a completely black head, but some modern appearances gave them a yellow head like the rest of their bodies.
