Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Jargons are bipedal dragons with immense bellies and bumpy yellow scales, known for carrying around jars of a mysterious liquid on a strap across their chests. In battle, they can take a swig from their jars to breathe out flames or disperse magical sand to blind their opponents. They also attack by tackling opponents with their large bellies.

Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime[edit | edit source]
A jargon named Pot Belly appears as a boss in Mt. Krakatroda, inside a building where initially lies the Krak Pot. Pot Belly tries to steal the Krak Pot for its own whimsical purposes and Rocket goes to stop him to retrieve the object to Boingburg in Slimenia. Pot Belly is immune to Elasto Blast, so the only way to defeat it is to make it damage itself with the objects it takes from the Krak Pot such as banana peels and rockbombs, as well as throwing chimaera wings to the monster that it also takes out of said pot.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit | edit source]
Jargon appears as a C-rank monster of the Dragon family. It can be recruited from Chapters 13-2, 13-6, 13-8, and 15-1 of the main storyline, as well as the Great Wing Plains level at any difficulty during the Dragon Fest event. It also appears as the story boss of Chapter 7, Episode 9: The Jarring Jargon. Jargon can participate in the Green dragon, Gasbagon, and Baran's Battle Roads as a party member.
