Gigagash is a group-targeted combat ability in the Dragon Quest series.
Characteristics
Gigagash is basically an even more powerful version of the Gigaslash ability.
Appearances
Dragon Quest VIII
The hero can learn Gigagash as a sword technique after fully investing 100 skill points into both the "Sword" or "Courage" skills, replacing Gigaslash.
Dragon Quest IX
| Gigagash (DS) | ||
|---|---|---|
| MP | 30 | |
| Effect | Hits a single group of enemies with Light damage (as done by the Zap line of spells in other games) | |
| Flavor text | Supreme technique that destroys a group of enemies. | |
To use Gigagash, a character must both equip a sword and be carrying the book awarded by the level 40 Sword Skill quest. Its damage output and MP cost are double those of Gigaslash, and the caveat about its usability applies with even greater force.
