Enchanted stone is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is a soul-infused crystal that is used as a crafting ingredient.

Enchanted stone has a 13% chance of being found in Rank 8 (B) blue treasure chests, can be received as a reward for completing Quest #060: That Makes Scents, or made in the Krak Pot.

One can be found in a treasure chest in the Plumbed Depths and another is dropped by Larstastnaras. In the postgame, enchanted stone can be found randomly in the fountain at the Quester's Rest if the player's inn has been fully upgraded. It can be sold for 300 gold coins.

Enchanted stones are used as a material for crafting weapons and armour. It can be found randomly in red or black treasure chests, can be received as a reward for quests, or dropped rarely by various monsters, such as Abracadabradors, Bad karmours, Hellions, Living statues, and Treefaces.

Enchanted stones can be found in treasure chests at the Emerald Coast, Northern Champs Sauvage, L'Académie de Notre Maitre des Médailles, the Other Side, the Zwaardsrust Region*, and the First Forest, or picked up from sparkly spots in the upper part of Nautica, Mount Pang Lai, and the Hotto Steppe* during the second and third acts. They can also be dropped by Very devils and Infanticores, along with their vicious and malicious counterparts respectively. It can be sold for 300 gold.

Enchanted stone can be used to create Block-it lockets and the quick recipe for the Sorcerer's ring in the Alchemy Pot or sold for 1,050 gold.
