Bulgio (formerly Brugeo) is a minor character in Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. His story in Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is mostly unchanged.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Bulgio is an extremely wealthy man who lives in a mansion on an island above L'Arca. He looks like a regular middle-aged man, and wears elegant clothes. Bulgio has a son who wears rags to avoid assassination attempts.
Story[edit | edit source]
Bulgio bought the Sizzling Stone from Pike, the hero's uncle, shortly after L'Arca was restored. Despite his initial refusal, he eventually decides to lend the Sizzling Stone to the party in exchange for letting him travel with them to the place where the Sizzling Stone must be used, the highest place in the world. Upon reaching the top of The Tallest Tower, Bulgio leaves the Sizzling Stone on the hands of the hero. Bulgio and the party witness Sir Mervyn's reawakening at the top of the tower. Before returning home, Bulgio claims to be satisfied with the spectacle he witnessed when the hero came back.
