The Siren's staff is a heavy wand in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
The siren's staff is a recoloured version of the Staff of resurrection, with blue-green crystal orbs at the top and bottom of the staff. It is topped with the golden design of a winged female figure in flight. True to its mythological namesake, the wand has the ability to beguile a target after attacking.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined[edit | edit source]
The Siren's staff has an Attack bonus of +46, a Magical Might bonus of +41, a Magical Mending bonus of +57, and a MP absorption rate of 12%. It has a 8% chance of beguiling an enemy after attacking. When used as a tool in battle, it restores 52 HP to a single party member and grants them HP regeneration. The wand can be equipped by the Hero, Maribel, and Aishe. It cannot be purchased anywhere, but it can be sold for 7,200 gold. One can be found in a treasure chest on B2F of the Coral Cave in the past. Siren's staff is a 4♦ prize from the Lucky Panel at Pilgrim's Rest after the Demon King's resurrection.

The Siren's staff has an Attack bonus of +23, a Style bonus of +10, increases the wielder's Weight by 8, a Magical Might bonus of +34, a Magical Mending bonus of +17, a max MP bonus of +6, and a MP absorption rate of 6%. It has a 2% chance of beguiling a target after attacking. When used as a tool in battle, it casts Wizard Ward on a single character. The heavy wand has an equipment level of 42 and can be equipped by a Mage, Armamentalist, Sage, Druid, or Dragomancer. It can be crafted with woodworking.

The Siren's staff has an Attack bonus of +23, a Charm bonus of +10, a Magical Might bonus of +34, a Magical Mending bonus of +17, a max MP bonus of +6, and a MP absorption rate of 11%. It has a 2% chance of beguiling a target after attacking. When used as a tool in battle, it increases a character's spell resistance by one stage. The heavy wand can be equipped by the Hero as a Mage, Armamentalist, or Sage, and Fuura. It can be crafted with the Fun-Size Forge.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bonds[edit | edit source]
The Siren's Staff is a 4★ Ice-elemental heavy wand that can be equipped by the Luminary Leader as a Mage, all versions of Popp, Flazzard, Hadlar in his Valge Clothing, and Matoriv. At level 35, it has a Magical Attack bonus of +152 and a Recovery bonus of +139. It unlocks the ability to cast Kacrack for the Luminary Leader and Popp and could be acquired from limited Treasure Hunts or from the Shop Exchange. The heavy wand was first added to the game during the A Young Mage's Training limited event.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The wand is named after the Sirens of Greek mythology. Sirens were dangerous female creatures who would lure nearby sailors with their enchanted singing and music in order to shipwreck them on the rocky shores of their islands. Most famously, Sirens appeared in Homer's Odyssey, wherein the hero Odysseus asked his shipmates to tie him to the ship's mast in order to avoid being tempted by their singing. They have been depicted in a variety of different ways, including as bird-women similar to harpies or even been conflated with mermaids in other languages.
