The Peacock fan has an Attack bonus of +60 and can only be equipped by Red. It can be purchased from Empycchu and Dark Empycchu for 5,800 gold and sold for 2,900 gold. The fan can be dropped by Elysium birds, War gryphons, and Heavy hoods. It can also be made using the Alchemy Pot.

Dragon Quest X edit
The Peacock fan has an Attack bonus of +32, a Style bonus of +7, an Agility bonus of +14, and increases the wielder's Weight by 2. It also increases damage dealt in the Colosseum by 10%. It has an equipment level of 28 and can be equipped by Martial Artists, Minstrels, Sages, Luminaries, Dancers, Druids, and Hermits, as well as Fuura in the Offline version. The fan can be crafted with woodworking or with the Fun-Size Forge.
Starting with Version 6.2 of the game, the amount of materials required to make one were reduced, making it easier to craft. Previously, it required five Bendy branches, two bolts of Technicolour dreamcloth, and one Brighten rock.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below edit
Known as the Peafowl fans in this game, they have an Attack bonus of +25, a Blocking bonus of +6, and can only be equipped by Maya. They can be purchased for 1,850 gold from the weapon merchant on the Stonecloud as soon as Maya joins the party and sold for 920 gold.

The Peafowl fans have an Attack bonus of +32 and can only be equipped by Maya, being part of her initial equipment. They can be purchased for 1,900 gold.
