Rippleport is a port village in northwestern Torland. It is the location where a ship can be obtained in Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line.

As it is the only town with a port in the game, it can be inferred that Rippleport is the center of commerce in Torland.

Appearances edit

Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line edit

The party fighting gremlins in town.

After rescuing a girl from two Gremlins, the Luminaries receive a ship from her grandfather for them to use in traveling the world.

After this point, the game becomes much more non-linear: as long as they are prepared to deal with strong enough monsters, the Luminaries can travel anywhere they please.

Like any port town, gambling is available via the Tombola house, with a Bank present as well. A bunny girl in the southwest corner offers to give the princes Puff-Puff.

By giving the Sunken Treasure to a man reachable only by ship, the Luminaries will receive the Echo Flute.
