Tsunami staff
The tsunami staff is recurring staff in the series, and is the upgraded form of the watermaul wand. Powerful ocean spirits are said to reside within it, and as such it deals extra damage to members of the aquatic family of monsters--due to system changes, this also extends to insects, plants, and fungi in Dragon Quest XI.
