Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past edit

GameDescription

'Resistant to an array of odious spells and abilities.[1]

Found in the Hellfire Hollow (use the Fire Amulet to call upon the Spirit of Fire to proceed at the dead end).

Equipping the Pyros helmet (フエーゴのかぶと) increases defence by +53, style by +33, and cuts the accuracy of Whack, Fuddle, Fizzle, and Snooze to 1/8th. It can be equipped by The Hero and Aishe.

Unfortunately the Pyros Helm provides less defense than the Metal King Helm, but is still better than all helmets purchasable with currency and a serviceable alternative for those not willing to grind the 50,000 Casino Ticket price (at Buccanham Palace: Present Casino) for the MKH.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined edit

Pyros helm increases defence by +56 points, charm by +51 points, and reduces by 80% the chances of being put to sleep, confused, and muted.

The Pyros Helm is obtained in the Cathedral of Blight during the main story.

Dragon Quest of the Stars edit

It was introduced into the game alongisde the Dragon Quest VII event, accompanied by the rest of the Saint's Equipment. The helm offered +9 attack and up to +97 defence. It had the "Frizz Guard (High)" and the"Fire Breath Damage Down (Mid)" which provided up to 45% resistance to "frizz"-element attacks and up to 30% resistance to "fire breath"-element attacks, respectively.

An alchemized version of it appeared later one: "Pyros Helm ★". This upgraded version increased it's max stats to +12 attack and + 99 defence, and added the "Combustion Damage Guard" skill, which reduced combustion damage by 30%.
