"The heavenly palace is where I make my pasture! The world is mine to gallop freely across, its inhabitants merely my grooms! Hrrrm? Those abortive creations, the mortals, ride roughshod over the realm beneath? Neeigh! They must be destroyed!"
Characteristics edit
The Equinox is based on the mythological Kirin (麒麟), a fabled horse with the head and scales of a dragon. Known as the Black Star, these equine monsters have a sinister colour scheme, having solid white eyes, black body scales with teal scales covering the flank and shoulders, and hooves that are surrounded by a ghostly blue aura. Equinox's name originates from an astronomic term "Equinox", referring to the moment when the sun reaches one of two intersections between the ecliptic and the celestial equator as well as "Equine" which means horse.
