Nina (younger sister)

Zepha is the childhood friend of the protagonist of Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, and a member of the Dragon Wings mercenary group.

Appearance and Personality edit

Zepha is a mature, composed and reliable member of the Dragon Wings group. Roly mentions that she has a sophisticated aura to her. She is slightly teasing to the protagonist at the beginning of the game, likely as a result of their shared time together.

Zepha has white hair tied back in a bun with curtain bangs, and has lime green eyes. She has a set of earrings with black dangling orbs. She wears a red surcoat with a silver Dragon Wings emblem on the chest, and it is slightly torn towards the bottom. Underneath, she wears a black, long-sleeved undershirt and then a white, short-sleeved dress with purple edges that reaches her ankles. Her gloves are brown and her shoes are black. She has a purple scabbard at her left side with a brown satchel on the other side, hanging from the belt at her waist.

She is the first in line to the throne of Verna, and often used to play with her younger sister Nina as children. She left the castle without a trace one winter evening to live with Quin and train under his wing to learn the ways of war and eventually be able to defend the people. Quin (a royal guard of Verna) states at Moneta Shore that he is bound by royal decree and cannot tell the party why she had to leave. At Quin's home, she and the player trained together, which is how the Dragon Wings was formed.

Trivia edit

  • Zepha and Nina share a lot of design similarities, both wearing similar earrings, having lime eyes, and inverted versions of each-other's tunic/dress.
