The Tricky Devil is a boss and minor villain in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age.

Characteristics edit

The tricky devil's appearance is identical to that of the little devil, being a diminutive humanoid Demon with a purple body, a small pair of green wings on its back, a long pointy tail, pointy ears, and a pair of antennae on its head. It attacks by firing beams from these antennae. Much like an imp, the tricky devil has the appearance of a child wearing a devil costume, with its green face poking out of its purple body. It is mischievous and enjoys playing pranks on humans, being responsible for transforming the woodcutter Flint into a dog and destroying the bridge in the Manglegrove, and likes to believe that it's more devious than it actually is. It has a short temper and flies into a range when Erik points out how pathetic it is.

Description This little monster likes nothing more than hiding in treasure chests and playing pranks on people, but they tend to go off with a whimper rather than a bang. It might be time to change its name...
