Appearances[edit | edit source]

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]

Gold nugget is used in Alchemy to give a Style bonus to weapons and footwear or sold for 1,000 gold. Three gold nuggets can be created in the Alchemy Pot from five Gold nuglets and five gold nuggets can be used to create three Gold bars. It can be received randomly as a prize for playing Tombola, received as a quest reward, found in treasure chests, or dropped by various monsters, including Pickled slimes, Mottle slimes, Gold golems, Mechan-o'-wyrms, and Gaia dragons.

  • In the Offline version of the game, the Gold nugget's icon was changed to the one used for Gold ore. The alchemy recipe was simplified to only requiring two gold nuglets to create a single gold nugget, while a gold bar can now be created by combining two gold nuggets.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below[edit | edit source]

Gold nuggets can be dropped by Gold golems and Silvapithecus-type Mawkeepers. It can be safely sold for 1,500 gold coins each.
