Dragovian

Dragovians are dragons that take the form of a human. They live in a place called Dragonia. They will breed with their own species. However, they sometimes will breed with a human, resulting in human-Dragovian hybrids. An example of a hybrid is the hero of Dragon Quest VIII. Dragovians (and half-Dragovians) are naturally immune to curses, such as the curse Rhapthorne placed on Trodain Castle. When they are born, the Dragovian child will be protected by its parents. If the parents aren't able to protect the child, a relative will protect the child. When it becomes an adult, it will find a mate. Dragovians usually don't mate with humans becuase they hate humans. Xia was the first to mate with a Human.When a Dragovian finds a human that it wants to mate with, it transforms into a human. The reason for this was so that the human won't find out it's dating a Dragovian. Because Dragovians are forbidden to mate with humans, the father and child were not allowed to enter Dragonia. Dragovian Hunters hunt dragovians in hopes of impressing a girl the hunter likes. The hunter will try to put a powerful curse on it but it doesn't work because dragovians (and half-dragovians) are immune to magical curses. The reason people will hunt dragovians is because they think the monster's scales can dispell curses and they think dragovians are evil and must be killed. Human-Dragovian hybrids are look down upon by humans and monster alike because they are half of the species. Dragovians find a way to make human-dragovian hybrids powerful then they are. The reason humans hate them so much because they are half human and half dragovian. Hunters want to take control of their power because they want to do tests on them.
