Enchanted stones are calcified magical energy that can be used to enhance the properties of items and equipment they are combined with via alchemy or worked into in the Fun-Size Forge.

Enchanted stones are used in a variety of alchemical recipes. One is found in the The Plumbed Depths and can be repeatedly obtained by completing Quest #60, in addition to manufacturing the stones with Krak Pot

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Enchanted stones are found in the Hotto Steppe, Mount Pang Lai, and Nautica, and can be filched from from Very devils and Infanticores at a 1/128 rate. The stones are used for creating Enchanted shields, King axes, King's coats, Lightning conductors, Papillon pendants, Pixie poles, and Prince's pea coats.

The enchanted stone is a key item related to the game's plotline, being the very emboidment of the life force found within the tree kingdoms that the player explores.
