Larstastnaras is a boss and monster in the series.

Characteristics

Larstastnaras's true form is that of a slug-like demoness with pink skin and a hideous visage. The remaining vestiges of her human disguise are her clothes: a purple brassiere and a skirt, covered by a longer brown cloth, and a long shawl worn on her head, both of which are decorated with multicoloured feathers. In her right hand, Larstastnaras still carries the same gnarled wooden staff she did, as well.

Story

Larstastnaras disguises herself as a human named Sarantsatsral to try and control the people of Batsureg and the plains using her charm. Her disguise falls apart when Batzorig throws the concoction of Bodura grass on her, becoming hostile and attacking both the young man and the Hero. After she is defeated in battle, Larstastnaras is turned back into a simple slugger, who gained power thanks to the help of a fygg. The people of Batsureg are shocked that they placed their trust in a monster. Larstastnaras reveals that she found the shining fruit on the plains and consumed it. Although she gained incredible power, she lost her sense of self. Batzorig states that her actions are unforgivable, but ultimately decides to spare her. He allows her to leave on the condition that she go with Khoonbish, Batzorig's trusted mandrill companion. The two then leave the village and peace returns to the plains. In the postgame, Larstastnaras is mentioned as doing fine now.
