Characteristics

Haystack needlers are diminutive Humanoid monsters with brown cotton fluff balls like dry straw on their bodies. Along with the sharp needles they use as weapons, this variety of needlers have bolstered their offensive capabilities by hurling small bombs at their enemies. They have light grey skin, a maroon grass skirt, brown shoes, and a brown leather mask with eyes shaped like buttons. The needlers have two fluff balls coming out of the tops of their masks and fluff on their chins in the shape of a beard, as well as a fluffy tail. The haystack needler's English name is based on the idiom "like finding a needle in a haystack", which means something that is difficult or impossible to locate or something that is needlessly complex.
