The Royal mage's robe bottom is legwear in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
The lower half of a royal mage's robe that protects the wearer's legs. It is made mostly of black cloth with intricate gold embroidery over white cloth. In mobile games, it is worn with the royal mage's shoes.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
The Royal mage's robe bottom has a Defence bonus of +21, a Style bonus of +10, and a Weight bonus of +2. It has an equipment level of 60 and can be equipped by a Mage, Armamentalist, Sage, Fortune Teller, Druid, Death Master, or Dragomancer. The robe can be crafted with sewing and the entire set consists of the top and bottom, the cap, and shoes. If all four pieces are equipped, the wearer gains a +10 bonus to max MP, an extra +35 bonus to Style, and a 8% chance of increasing the wearer's Magical Might by one stage at the start of battle.

Dragon Quest Walk[edit | edit source]
The Royal mage's robe bottom is 5★ lower body armour that can be acquired randomly from any equipment banner. It gives a boost to the wearer's Magical Might and Magical Mending, as well as increasing resistance to sleep by 5%.
Dragon Quest Smash/Grow[edit | edit source]
The Royal Mage's Robe (Bottom) is 2★ lower body armour with a Defence bonus of +8 and a Magical Defence bonus of +11 at level 1. Its starting Boons are Elemental Defier +5% and Magical Damage +5%. The robe can be acquired randomly from any transmuter.
