The Feralball is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in Dragon Quest VI. It is a peculiar, three-eyed beast covered in a coat of neon green fur.
Feralballs are three-eyed, neon green-furred mammals of small stature, with two antennae that terminate in red puffballs. Their fur gives it the appearance of being covered in moss or grass. It attacks by rolling itself into a ball and tackling the enemy. They are the second-weakest monster in Mortamor's army after Mottle slimes, and as such hardly pose a threat to even the most green adventurer. In the Super Famicom version of VI, they are one of the easiest monsters to recruit after battle.
Feralballs appeared from the beginning of the game. It is able to defend by curling itself up into a round ball. Vicious versions are later encountered in the Netherworld.
This fluffball is covered in green fur from top to toe. Though easily spooked, those with sharp eyes might spot something funny where this beastie's nose should be before it scampers
Spelled as Feral ball in this game, it appears as an F-rank monster of the Beast family during the second part of the limited True Dragon Quest X event. It can be scouted from Chapter 4, Episode 4: Archfiend Valeria of the event quests and it can be fully awakened by repeating the quest at any difficulty, eventually becoming recruitable from the fifth part of the main storyline from Chapter 1, Episode 2: To Kibodos 1. The feral ball can participate in the Old flame's Battle Road as a party member.
