The Überkilling machine is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VI. It is a chrome-plated variant of the overkilling machine.
These metallic menaces mash at opponents with massive maces and slice with meticulously sharpened sabers and are even armed with a long wiry whipping tail that ends in a crossbow that helps it to crush enemies. They possess a single unblinking robotic eye in the middle of their intimidating, intricately designed robust chassis, with serrated spikes jutting out keep any adventurers from getting to close. They're often known to guard great treasures, proving to be a gamble to battle even for seasoned sneaky treasure sniffing thieves. Their devastating attacks deal massive damage, especially as they act multiple times in a turn and can use deadly skills such as Metal Slash and Dragon Slash.

Überkilling machine first appeared as a S-rank monster of the Inorganic family during the original Dragon Quest VI event, eventually appearing on its own banner during the second part of the 1-Year Wrap Party post-anniversary event alongside King crab. It can participate in the Heligator's Battle Road as a party member. As of the most recent update in the Japanese version, it can be scouted from any banner, including the Regular SP Scout.
Überkilling machine appeared as a rare summon as part of a collaboration event with Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light. Its description makes reference to its original appearance in VI as the guardians of the undersea treasure chamber.
The Überkilling machine's Japanese name Killer Machinger is derived from Mazinger (マジンガー), a long-running manga and anime series written and illustrated by Go Nagai that features giant robots or mecha. It first debuted in 1972.
