The Dancing Flame in Memoriam (追憶のフレイム Tsuioku no fureimu) is a monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. It is a more powerful variant of the Dancing flame with two appearing as the ninth boss in Memories Lane alongside the Dark Servant in Memoriam.

Characteristics edit

Two spry and mischievous looking flames accompany Rhapthorne's servant in Memories Lane. It is recommended to use the Hero's Kamikazee skill to eliminate the Dancing Flame in Memoriams as quickly as possible. It should also be noted that Morrie's Rake 'n' Break skill should be used if they happen to bolster the Dark Servant in Memoriam.
